Sister-company terms

Single-source delivery from architectural concept through handover. Both teams sit under the Oasis Bauen Holdings umbrella, so coordination is direct and contracts are streamlined.

What's being certified

Our industrial control rooms, accommodation modules and operational containers are completing ATEX and IECEx Zone 1 & 2 audits this quarter — the standards required for hazardous-area work in upstream and midstream oil & gas.

What this unlocks

Direct deployment of BaumeisterCivil modules into onshore well-pad operations, gas-processing plants, FPSO welfare cabins and remote field accommodation across the Niger Delta and northern Nigerian fields.

Pipeline

We are in early conversations with three operators about modular tender packages for late-2026 awards. The certifications are the gating step.

Where we go next

Once certified, we localise final-assembly hubs closer to operating regions to compress logistics, and we add ATEX-rated lighting, EMI-shielded comms and Zone-rated HVAC as standard specifications across the relevant module types.

Why modular wins here

Oil & gas operations are time-sensitive, often remote, and run on rotation cycles. Conventional builds can't keep pace. Modular delivers fitted accommodation, control rooms and welfare units in weeks instead of months — durable for harsh climates, ATEX-rated for hazardous areas, and demountable for redeployment.

Our four-step roadmap

• Step 1 — Certifications. Complete ATEX / IECEx Zone 1 & 2 audits and operationalise the certified product line.
• Step 2 — Industrial-line build-out. Productise control rooms, mess units, medical bays, security cabins and ATEX accommodation as catalogue offerings, sized to crew.
• Step 3 — Operator partnerships. Sign strategic frame-agreements with operators in the Niger Delta and northern fields for repeat-call modular work.
• Step 4 — Local final-assembly hubs. Stand up assembly yards near major operating regions to compress logistics and accelerate response.

Targeted milestones

Q2 2026: certifications signed off. Q3 2026: first paid pilot with an upstream operator. Q1 2027: dedicated industrial product line live. By 2028 we aim to be Nigeria's go-to modular partner for oil & gas operational facilities.

What diaspora clients asked for

Three things came up in every conversation: real-time visibility into the build, fixed-price contracts in dual currency, and a clear answer to "who do I call if something is wrong?" In a market where many absentee owners had been burned by cost overruns and unfinished projects, those three asks shaped our delivery model.

• Weekly site updates — drone footage and milestone photos uploaded to a private client portal.
• Naira and USD invoicing on every milestone, with the rate locked at contract signing.

Outcome

Across last year's delivered diaspora projects, every client either commissioned a follow-up build or referred at least one new client. We're rolling the same framework into every BaumeisterResidence engagement going forward.

Diaspora demand for modular homes in Nigeria is growing fast. The product is great — but so is the trust gap. Closing that gap with transparency, currency-honest pricing and visible delivery is a market-making move, not just a customer-service one.

AI workloads are roughly doubling year-on-year. IoT deployments — smart cities, agri-tech, fintech — need edge data centers close to where the data is generated. 5G rollouts force telecom operators to upgrade core sites. The combined pressure is creating an unprecedented build pipeline across Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.

Who's funding it

International infrastructure funds and pan-African vehicles are co-investing alongside Nigerian sovereign-wealth and pension funds. The capital is there; what's missing is delivery speed.
